I created this website originally as a project while going to school at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg, NJ. It has become apparent to me that this has grown to be something much more.

• Rob Neiderman – Moderator for the forums – An ancient prophecy was fulfilled on October the 25th, 1977, as the Great and Powerful ROB descended from his mother’s loins unto Earth on a mission to rock the very foundations of the world. “Hailing from Hamilton, NJ, Rob entered the eye care field after a short career as a high school history teacher. The ever-growing list of schools he’s attended includes The College of New Jersey and Raritan Valley Community College. Rob enjoys movies, reading (especially history), and travel. He is currently working at the LensCrafters in Princeton. Rob is a licensed Optician in New Jersey.
• Alvaro Cordova – Administrator – Graduated with an Associates in Liberal Arts from Ocean County College (May 27th, 1999) and a Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University in Computer Science (January 20th, 2003)and now have an Associates in Applied Science in Ophthalmics from Raritan Valley Community College (May 18th, 2005). I am ABO-AC/NCLE certified (May 15th of 2005 ABO and NCLE, tested April 13th 2008 ABO-AC). I started out in this field at LensCrafters in Freehold New Jersey. Like a person in a depressurized cabin on a plane, I clinged for dear life, but was sucked into this field virtually the day I graduated Rutgers University. (I have been collecting degrees ever since.) My ambition is to top Rob’s bio. Alvaro is a licensed optician in New Jersey (July 20th 2006 – License no. 31TD00354400) and member of the Opticians Association of New Jersey, is an honored fellow at the Opticians Association of America, a fellow of the National Academy of Opticianry and a member of the Contact Lens Society of America. I also am a contributing author for ECP magazine.
