…a great way to stay on top of the dynamic field of Opticianry and make some friends in the process.
MORE is a video short by Mark Osborne released in 1998. It was filmed using stop motion animation. I am actually interested in your comments about this. It is a work of art that can be interpreted many different ways. I feel it has a certain impact on one’s world view that is absolutely amazing. Very few films have the same effect. So let me know what you think.

Very cool film! Really captured the futility of pursuing material happiness. Here’s a guy who misses the simple joys of youth, and tries to find happiness in worldly success by creating a better toy to distract people from their unhappiness, only to end up more depressed. Very well put together, and the music was just perfect!

There’s so many ways to think about the film. The idea of happiness, or bliss for that matter, being packaged is absurd to me. I feel this film really brings home a point about how we are as a culture, cursed with abundance. It is more of a social critique for me. A culture that would welcome such an invention as “Have Bliss” would be a culture of immense ignorance and somewhat hopeless. Why do anything if one can be rewarded with happiness or bliss without going through the effort to attain that for oneself. This film could inspire me to write a book. What an awesome film, and the music is killer too.
