Sagitta up too

by @ 2:52 am. Filed under Optician's Friend Blog

The Sagitta calculator is up and working as well. Basically put in all the information necessary. I also put the back vertex power so that one can compare results from using the Sagitta forumla vs the Approximation. Well, I’m going to go to bed now. I’ve had a very productive day, but I really feel worn out. I would say this site is becoming more and more useful. One final point. The calculator only works for spherical lenses. Aspheric and/or Atoric lenses to not come into the picture. There’s a lot going on with aspherics.
